Another change in telephone numbers is coming to Vietnam
One year ago the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) has put the municipalities and provinces across Vietnam into an extensive change to their telephone area code.
As a result, millions of landline telephone numbers, personal users and businesses were affected and forced to change, to update and to revise their contact information in their phone books, marketing and social media channels, re-print name cards, brochures and other marketing material – Naturally, that caused a huge expenditure of time and money for these businesses and enterprises.
Nowadays, in a similar act, MIC is going to swap all 11-digit mobile numbers in Vietnam for 10-digit format.
Once again, millions of telephone numbers, personal users and businesses would be affected and forced to change, to update and to revise their contact information in their phone books, marketing and social media channels, re-print name cards, brochures and other marketing material – Naturally, that would cause a huge expenditure of time and money for these businesses and enterprises… Déjà vu, anybody?
