Another 2025 Trends List
Your workload has drafted. Bring on 2025...
AI is transforming how we work, but we’re expected to keep it personal. Global audiences demand tailored experiences, but consistency is non-negotiable. And we’re all racing against the speed of social. It’s no small task.
What’s next for our industry? The 2025 Digital Marketing Trends Report from Brandwatch Research highlights the key shifts every marketer should know about. It’s data-driven, packed with real examples, with actionable ideas to help you thrive.
Here’s the quick rundown of the seven trends:
1?? Unexpected collaborations are creating buzz and boosting engagement. (No, we are not talking about KitKat and Heinz style collabs).
2?? Brands are going bold and creative with in-person events.
3?? Communities (online & offline) are reshaping marketing opportunities.
4?? Consumers are rethinking tech use - hello, digital detox (I for one am 10 days into a personal social media cull, it's changed my focus professionally).

5?? Marketers are embracing AI - but authenticity remains king. (For who? "authenticity may need to be redefined. A post written solely by AI, it is authentic?)
6?? Search behaviour is changing fast - TikTok, Reddit, and AI are shaking things up. (Tik Tok has been disruptive already but, are there changes coming?)
7?? Peer-to-peer recommendations are the trust currency for 2025. (The good old "deliver excellence and the guests will beat a path to your door).
These trends are interesting and should be challenged, defined and activated for your business.
Listen to your guests and look for trending behaviours, spark advocacy, and make every activation count. BE BOLD. It's what sets the great apart from the good. Create something unforgettable because playing it safe never wowed a guest.
What trends are you betting on for 2025? ??

2 个月On the AI and authenticity point - totally. Hotels really rely on the quality of engagement with their guests, so chatbots don’t always cut it. I think I’d rather thank a real person than an AI for a wonderful stay at a hotel.

2 个月Fully agree with the "back to basics" and putting the (offline) human connection at the centre. This, balanced with AI/Tech will definitely be key :)
