Annual rings

Today I became 62. I'm born in ’62.

You can imagine this is a kind of magical, reminiscing day for me.

At the same time it's also a day to look ahead as I find myself in the final phase of my career.

I call it in a humorous way my End Game

I started working at 18. Actually it was 16, but that wasn't a success ??

My career will last at least another 6 years. Quite interesting in today's market ??

With the many insights gathered over the years I am curious to find a Great Place To Work that fits with who I am today. Scarred by life, yet wiser and valuable.

Over the years, this is what I learned as important values which are within ones own control:

• Try to understand and love yourself
• Take good care of your health
• Cherish your loved ones
• Be kind and help others
• Deal with what is and adapt to situations and changes that matter
• Embrace blissful moments as they pass by unexpectedly and briefly
• Keep hope, always!
• Be grateful ????

It's not about being perfect, but trying to be a good person.

These tasks are perpetual and not easy as we are subject to pressure and temptations.

Above all, it requires courage, efforts, determination, endurance, reflection and resilience.

To celebrate this -for me- memorable day, this article is what I find worth passing on.
