ANNUAL HOUSE OF LORDS RECEPTION & 50TH ANNIVERSARY, 6 June 2018

We are sure that those of you who have joined us on previous occasions will agree that the British Expertise International networking reception at the House of Lords is a wonderful opportunity to meet business acquaintances, colleagues and friends in an iconic London setting. This year we will are also celebrating more than 50 years of supporting British companies to source, assess and secure international business.

You will meet many new colleagues, fellow members and guests at this flagship event on what, we hope, will be a lovely warm summer evening on the River Thames. HRH The Duke of Gloucester KG GCVO will also be in attendance.

We are pleased that The Rt. Hon Baroness Symons of Vernham Dean will host the event. Baroness Symons is a former Deputy Leader of the House of Lords, was a senior Labour Minister in the UK Government from 1997 until stepping down in 2005, serving as Minister for the Middle East, Minister for International Trade, Minister for Defence Procurement, and the Prime Minister’s envoy to the Gulf.

Baroness Symons is a valued member of our Advisory Board, and that of sister company The D Group, and has supported us for many years helping us to engage with our members, sharing her experience and many insights on developing export business.
