Announcing: Sobo Foods

Back in October, I wrote a post sharing my decision to step back from my day-to-day at Gainful and transition into a new role as an advisor.

Since then, I've been chipping away (somewhat) quietly on a new project with the inimitable Adam Yee.

Today, Adam and I are launching Sobo Foods.

Sobo is inspired by nostalgia, but crafted with the future in mind. Our recipes are born from a deep love for the first-generation comfort foods that Adam and I both grew up with, as well as a shared conviction that every meal is an opportunity to make a climate-positive choice. Our vision is to reimagine the flavors of our childhoods using 100% plant-based, veggie-packed recipes that our families would be proud of. Up first? The frozen dumpling!

This week only, I will be personally hand-delivering orders for FREE to customers in the Bay Area.

The only way to see the menu and place your order is to text us at (510) 806-8886 (do it now!!) and I will bring dumplings to your doorstep…and probably take a selfie with you. First 50 customers will get a special gift.
