Announcing our Quality Rating

You have heard me talk about the Apparo Academy , the preschool for children with special needs that we created from our Foundation for Therapy Options five years ago.

We have now opened all classrooms for infants as early as six weeks up to six-year-old children with special needs and those who are typically developing. Over the summer, we will be preparing to open up our final grade, kindergarten!

We recently earned the highest rating from Georgia's Quality Rating Program with three stars. Since we moved into our new 16,000 SF addition to the school this past September, we have been getting the students and teachers settled into their new digs and expanding our therapy center.

While our model of integrating speech, occupational, and physical therapies with nursing care into the classroom to maximize student time in our transformational model of therapeutic education brings us close to break-even sustainable financials, we still need to fundraise for capital expenditures (therapy equipment, medical supplies, school supplies, etc.) as we did with our new $5.2 million building expansion.
