The annual Legacy Leader Award is presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to the community. The award recognizes and emphasizes the important role and contributions of long-time local leaders in both shaping and serving the metropolitan community and greater region.

This year, The Chamber is proud to announce your 2023 Legacy Leader as Tom Dawson, previous Dakota Chairman at Marsh McLennan Agency.

"Tom is the embodiment of this honor, having devoted himself to championing the prosperity of our community and region. His contributions, spanning time, skill, resources and devotion, have enriched lives, careers, nonprofits, churches, businesses, The Chamber and the very fabric of our community. His leadership attributes also shine through his mentorship of individuals of all generations, both within his organization and the greater community."

The Unbreakable Bond of the Bush sisters in the eyes of their parents, Former U.S President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush.

Former U.S President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush discuss their twin daughters and the beautiful, powerful bond the girls have had since a young age. They also talk about the girls' strength and individuality, as they had worked to serve others in their own, meaningful ways over the years.

"When your child is successful in helping others, it makes you feel great. It's kind of what parenting is all about, so we are very proud of our girls."

- Former U.S. President, George W. Bush

TODAY correspondent Jenna Bush Hager and her twin sister, Barbara Bush, also share the launch of their new book, “Sisters First,” and talk about lessons they’ve learned growing up in the public eye, as well as their favorite memories from their “wild and wonderful” life together.
