Announcing: Gravity Haus Steamboat

The Gravity Haus family is growing! Our newest outpost in gorgeous Steamboat Springs will rebrand the former Ptarmigan Inn as a new ski-in, ski-out Gravity Haus property featuring 77 guest rooms, an outdoor pool and hot tub, a Haus Quiver location, a year-round outdoor deck with a fire pit facing the ski slopes and much more.

“You can literally throw a rock and hit the gondola,” says Vice President of Operations Katie Jacquemin.

The plan is to rebrand as Gravity Haus in the Fall of 2022 and treat the restaurant and bar area to a full renovation with revamped Colorado fresh menus in 2023. The Ptarmigan Inn underwent room renovations in 2019 and the plush suites will carry all of the treasured Gravity Haus amenities and extras.

Aligning with current Gravity Haus locales in Breckenridge, Winter Park, Vail, and Truckee-Tahoe, Steamboat Springs was chosen for its world-class hiking, biking, skiing and fly fishing — all of the things Gravity Haus members love and appreciate.

Gravity Haus Steamboat will serve as a coveted hotel, mountain office, family basecamp, and healthy refuel and recovery spot. “We’re built around mountain living, bringing communities together and having a gathering place where we can work, play and meet for meals,” says Jacquemin. “This is where you can come and work, leave your skis, and then get out for lunch break runs.”

Guests and members with kiddos in tow will appreciate the ease of a slopeside basecamp as well. Skiing with kids can be a production. Use Gravity Haus Steamboat to park, store all of your family’s gear onsite, access easy nutritious food options, take ski breaks, and hit the pool and hot tub.
