In the new Digital Disruptor talks, we will explore how construction technology can be used intentionally to make a positive impact on society and the environment. ?I have designed these talks to equip Futurebuild visitors with a new mindset, by providing access to tools and resources which will allow them to successfully navigate their understanding and use of the digital construction shaping our future.?

Futurebuild is thrilled to announce the launch of FutureX Digital Disruptors, at Futurebuild 2025. Building on the success of FutureX Innovation, this new initiative highlights the trailblazers driving the next wave of digital transformation in construction.
As the digital landscape evolves, FutureX Digital Disruptors will shine a spotlight on 40 pioneers in digital construction technology. These innovators are not just breaking the mould — they're redefining the future of construction.

Digital Futures: Innovation in Engineering
I was incredibly thrilled when the team at TEDI-London accepted my invitation to speak at Futurebuild 2024. Their session, led by their Executive Dean, Professor Lisa Brodie, highlighted how TEDI London's mission revolves around a novel concept, offering an innovative global engineering design degree that surpasses traditional academic boundaries. This is evident in the way that TEDI -London takes a central role in propelling sustainable and transformative initiatives within the built environment. Working on the Printworks London renovation project by British Land, students endeavour to convert a warehouse into a sustainable playground, taking a hands-on engineering approach to real-world challenge. This pioneering initiative is showcased as a digital twin example with the support of Cityscape Digital, illustrating the integration of technology and creativity. This talk highlighted how this multi-dimensional approach to engineering serves as the driving force behind a transformative project, emphasising the institute's pivotal role in shaping the future of architecture, engineering and construction education through an interdisciplinary approach, deeply integrated with the real-time demands of industry. I look forward to hearing more from Lisa in the future.
