Announcing Deft

At Deft we help upstarts launch digital businesses and quickly scale them into global brands by supercharging creative and media using machine learning and our collective genius. 

Over the past five years at Facebook and Instagram we advised the world's fastest growing brands how to get the most from their in house teams. We want to take what we’ve learned to build the next generation of culture and commerce unicorns outside of silicon valley. We want to make sure that brands can access specialist talent across different areas of expertise and have assembled a collective of world class experts to make this happen. 

Niran was the former Creative Lead at Facebook & Instagram for fashion and luxury clients including ASOS, Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger. Prior to this he worked in product at Facebook developing automated creative tools, held top creative roles at ad agencies such as AKQA; before moving into tech. He recently co-authored "How To: Build It" with Damola Timeyin. Out now with #Merky books.

Ian was the former Director of Facebook Creative Shop for Global Clients where he led a globally distributed in-house team of Creatives and Strategists working with brands like Adidas, L’Oreal and VW. Prior to this was VP Innovation at American Express and held senior strategy roles at digital agencies.
