Announcing Changes to our Pricing

Abyiss is announcing a change in our pricing and fees

On January 16th, 2023, we will be making a significant change in our business. As part of this change, we will be updating our pricing and fees for the first time since launching our products. The changes in price are intended to better align our business with the success of our customers.

First, some background

When we launched Abyiss in 2021, we set out to provide developers and consumers with best-in-class Crypto Data APIs and products. We believe that everyone should be able to create wealth through cryptocurrency, technology, and education.

We launched our products with the belief that the more information and data the public has, the better they can make informed decisions. And we had a strong hunch that the market would agree. But there’s was no way we could have expected the level of demand that we generated.

In our first 12 months, our users have made over 100 million API calls across 100 exchanges and 10,000 cryptocurrencies. And in 2023, we’re on track to top 700 million API calls across 200+ crypto exchanges and 100,000+ cryptocurrencies.

We’re changing our pricing and sales process

Today we’re announcing the following changes to our fees and pricing:

• Implementing new limits on what users are allowed to do within our free plans, products, and Crypto Data API subscriptions.
• Increasing our Crypto Data API subscriptions from a base rate of $50/mo to $250/mo, which will allow us to provide more data, information, and attention to each customer.
• Introducing a new line of crypto products and plans starting at $8/mo, which will allow everyone to explore crypto and decentralized finance.

Why we are making these changes

From the beginning, we’ve found that larger customers with complex needs often best match the services that we provide. We love working side-by-side with customers who have big stakes on the line, and we appreciate that these customers count on us to be there when it matters most.

Simply put, our customers find more success when we work closely together as true partners: the closer the collaboration, the more fulfilling the work.

Over the past year, we have made significant improvements to our product line and expanded our services, resulting in a better overall experience for our customers. We are adjusting our prices to reflect the enhanced value of our products and services.

This change in pricing and process allows us to continue to build our software and our team in a way that provides our customers with the highest level of service possible.

Moving forward

These changes are intended to help our customers, users, and businesses be more successful.

We realize that small customers and users may seek other solutions, and there are great alternatives available. Although we do hope that small customers and new users will continue to find great value in our free Crypto Data APIs, free Crypto tools, and new Crypto products starting with a reduced price of $8/mo.

If you have an established business and you want to work closely with our team, I firmly believe Abyiss is your best option. These pricing and process changes are intended to cement our leadership in the higher end of the market.

No impact on existing customers until July 2023

We are incredibly grateful to our customers. We love helping them grow their businesses with Abyiss, and obviously, we couldn’t do it without them.

In considering how these changes will affect existing customers, it is extremely important to us to ensure that nothing changes for the next several months. That’s why pricing won’t change for existing customers until July 1st, 2023.

For existing customers:

• Subscription fees will be locked in at their current rate until July 2023. For example, if you’re currently paying $50/mo, you’ll continue to do so until July 2023.
• In July 2023, subscription fees will automatically increase based on the current plan you are subscribed to.

Our commitment

We understand that price increases can be inconvenient, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. However, we are confident that the improved quality of our products and services will more than make up for the increase in cost.

Between now and July 2023, we have 6 months to earn and maintain your business. We know that we need to add enough value to our products and services to justify these increases, or you’ll walk away and rightfully so.

We welcome the challenge, and we’re planning to do the following:

Service improvements

• Introduce a more hands-on approach to onboarding to ensure the highest likelihood of success for new customers.
• Bring on new customer success managers to provide more proactive collaboration on strategy and execution, as well as support specialists to provide exceptional, responsive support.
• Improve our documentation and educational content.
• Expand our Crypto Services to better assist current and future customers.

Product improvements

• Expand data connections to support EVM dApps and decentralized exchanges such as UniSwap, and SushiSwap.
• Implement notifications and alert systems to notify you in real-time in the event of market changes utilizing email services and SMS messaging.
• Expand the proprietary data being generated by Abyiss to include large whale transactions, market liquidity, and more.
• Create a new weekly newsletter with data driven crypto updates that took place during the past week.
• Implement Crypto Swaps and Trades via the 0x protocol to offer direct trading on all EVM compatible blockchains.

These improvements are just some of what we have planned in 2023.
