Announcements and Demo Roundup
In February, we were pleased to announce important technological advancements with our partners.
Quality on Demand Network API
On February 26th, we announced that we have joined forces with Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier and Microsoft Azure to enhance the mobile video streaming experience.
By adding QoE Network API intelligence to our BkS450 streaming software, we aim to improve stability and quality for mobile users, especially during peak network traffic times.
Successful tests of the solution have been conducted on the Telekom Edge Cloud platform in Berlin, Germany, showcasing the ability to boost network bandwidth for specific users when needed. This collaboration allows for a more stable streaming service, even in challenging network conditions.
You can see the proven proof-of-concept version in action, showcased at our booths (Broadpeak #CS299 in Congress Square, Deutsche Telekom stand 3M31 and Microsoft stand 3H30).
Immersive content distribution at scale
Another important partnership that we could announce this month was our collaboration with InterDigital, Inc. to advance content delivery networks and stream MPEG V3C immersive content at scale. This partnership focuses on efficiently distributing volumetric video, a crucial aspect of creating immersive experiences. By combining InterDigital's V3C platform with our CDN technologies, we aim to enhance the delivery of immersive media.
The demo is also being shown at MWC on our booth #CS299 and at InterDigital, Inc. booth (Hall 7, stand 7B31).
