Fastenal kicking off the Case Competition with our Foundations of Selling Students

“Over the past year, I have been blown away with Bo Harris and the entire Fastenal team. I am ecstatic to bring Fastenal within the TCU Sales Center family. Fastenal is a great fit for our students and community for 3 key reasons:

  1. Strong Company Culture: Fastenal is renowned for its strong company culture that emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and employee development. These values align strongly with that of the TCU Sales Program.?
  2. Career Advancement Opportunities: Fastenal recognizes the potential in its employees and offers ample opportunities for career growth and advancement. The company has a well-defined career path and supports employees in their professional development journeys. Bo and the team are working on additional ways to take advantage of our prepared students. Fastenal is forward thinking and looking forward to help quality candidates advance quickly.?
  3. Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Fastenal strives to attract and retain top talent by offering competitive compensation packages and comprehensive benefits. By ensuring that employees are well taken care of financially and provided with essential benefits, Fastenal demonstrates its commitment to the overall well-being and satisfaction of its workforce.” - Dr. Zachary Hall

Insights from Bo Harris, Regional Sales Manager on the TCU Sales Center X Fastenal Relationship

How did the Fastenal TCU Sales Center Relationship Begin?

"Student Margo Johnson introduced Fastenal to the TCU Sales Program in Fall 2022 getting us involved in class and role play observations. It didn’t take long for us to identify that there was something special brewing in this program with the quality of students, event energy, and program culture. Margo got us signed up for the Spring 2023 Case Competition as well as the Program’s Career Fair (among other observation events). All of the events, including our experience with Margo reinforced the conviction that a more involved TCU Partnership would be beneficial to Fastenal."

How can the partnership help Fastenal?

"Fastenal can benefit from the TCU partnership by continuing to enhance brand recognition and brand value. Future leaders that are coming through the TCU campus will gain insight into Fastenal’s strong Organizational profile and unique market approach. This messaging opportunity will trigger students' career interest in the organization, but more importantly it will seed a positive reputation that expands to farther reaches of tomorrow’s business world."

What do you want TCU Students to know about regarding Fastenal and career opportunities.

"Fastenal wants students to know that the next evolution of our organization is to accelerate expansion further into the Global Market environment. This will not only create Internationally based opportunities and increased company growth but also create heightened interest from the World’s Largest Clients. With this comes an obligation to build a team of Account Executives that can land and manage very complex contracts, some of which will reach annual revenue rates in the hundreds of millions of dollars."

We are very excited to partner with the TCU Sales Center and continue to create paths to get great people into a great organization! Spending the last few months involved in the different programs, The Sales Career Fair and the Role Play Competitions, etc., has been very enlightening and I can't wait to have the opportunity to learn more about not only the program, but all the strong leaders that are involved and leading the program. Thank you for having us!
