Announcement: Delay of the Global Women in Tech Virtual Festival

Dear FemTechConf Community,

We hope this message finds you well. We regret to inform you that our highly anticipated Global Women in Tech Virtual Festival will be delayed. This decision was not made lightly, and we want to be transparent with you about the reasons behind it.

Several of our valued partners and contributors have encountered significant challenges that have impacted their ability to deliver content on time thus preventing our production team from completing their preparations. Specifically, recent layoffs within some organisations and the holiday period have created unforeseen delays in the preparation and submission of essential materials.

In light of these challenges, we have decided to reallocate our resources and focus on our flagship event, the Women in Tech EMEA Summit in Berlin which is close to 90% sold out now! This summit is the cornerstone of our annual events, and we are dedicated to ensuring it surpasses your expectations.

We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding the Virtual Festival, and we sincerely apologise for any disappointment this delay may cause. Rest assured, we are committed to rescheduling the festival and will provide an update as soon as we have confirmed the new dates.

The Global Women in Tech Virtual Festival is one of our most valued events as we pride ourselves on making the vast majority of tickets free to the public through our different scholarships for attendees facing economic hardship, unemployment, going through studies and in other situations.

In the meantime, for those of you who purchased tickets, we are offering either a full refund or to exchange the ticket for an in-person ticket at our European Women in Tech Festival taking place in Prague next year with 2,500 expected attendees!
