Anna Valley enters administration
Anna Valley, which provides audio-visual technology to the live event, broadcast, and entertainment industries, has gone into administration.
A listing with Companies House states the company entered administration on 6 March 6, with Benjamin John Wiles and Geoffrey Wayne Bouchiser of Kroll Advisory Ltd named as administrators.
The AV company auctioned over 1000 lots of equipment online in December 2023 and January 2024, in what was described as a stock renewal programme to “recoup some costs from underutilised audio-visual and broadcast equipment and invest into new cutting-edge equipment and technology.”
Anna Valley, which has been working in the AV sector for 30 years, was a preferred supplier for several large event venues including ExCeL London, Tobacco Dock and the NEC Group.

“Anna Valley Limited was both a valued and highly regarded preferred audio-visual supplier of Tobacco Dock and fellow venues, as well as a trusted event partner for so many of our agents and clients for events at TD and beyond. As such, we were saddened to learn of the company entering into administration,” said Jonathan Read, co-founder & joint CEO at Tobacco Dock.
“Tobacco Dock has been working through an accelerated tender process to appoint a replacement AV Partner at Tobacco Dock since the news first broke of Anna Valley’s insolvency last Monday. Heads Of Terms were agreed on Friday with an industry-leading, global audio-visual and technical production company and the contract is now with our respective legal teams. We hope that we can announce their appointment in the next few days.
“Central to our negotiations has been ensuring the employment of our highly regarded AV team based at Tobacco Dock and we are delighted that their future, with all their knowledge, experience and client-centric approach to service, will be secured. We hope that there will be seamless continuity and minimal disruption to the world-class events being hosted at Tobacco Dock over the next few months.”
The news has prompted an outpouring of support and offers of employment opportunities for Anna Valley staff affected by the announcement on LinkedIn and other social media channels.
