Understanding prepregs: composition, resins, and fibers.

What are prepregs?

A fresh overview of composite materials: this time — prepregs. In a broad sense, #prepregs are reinforcing fibers soaked with matrix polymers.

??CFC, or 3D printing of anisotropic composites, relies on continuous fiber strands pre-impregnated with epoxy. At Anisoprint, we produce composite carbon and basalt fibers, cured and wound on a spool for printing.

See our new blog article on pre-impregnated composites.
