TL;DR

Among the new and exciting things we want to share with you:

  • We’re partnering with Bremen-based Jacobs University which is part of the global Schaffhausen Institute of Technology (SIT) ecosystem to establish an on-campus composite 3D printing ecosystem! Wow, I want to read more!
  • Composite 3D Printing 101: Benefits, Technologies, and Applications! On our blog, we’ve published a compact and practical entry-level overview of composite 3D printing, that you should not miss. Take me to the guide!
  • Meeting live is just more fun: The Anisoprint team met with OKM3D, one of the key distributors in Europe, to plan the upcoming collaboration activities in the next months.
  • E-mobility and urban micro-mobility are among the future hardware markets. But why haven’t composites lived up to their potential for applications in these sectors? In the podcast “Future of Mobility” our CEO Fedor shares what it takes to fully utilize the benefits of composite materials. Here is a teaser: It's starting with the design. I want to listen to the interview!
  • Indian academia and R&D institutions can now explore our patented CFC technology live and visit the brand new? Centre of Excellence for Additive Manufacturing. It has been launched by Sedaxis, our exclusive Solutions Partner for India, and the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), one of India’s largest private engineering universities. I want to learn more!

?? Anisoprint goes University!?

We have officially teamed up with the Jacobs University Bremen and the Schaffhausen Institute of Technology to build an on-campus composite 3D printing ecosystem!?

What does this mean? In the next months, our R&D team will relocate to Bremen to set up a brand new lab with state-of-the-art equipment on the campus of Jacobs University.

FOUNDED IN 2001, JACOBS UNIVERSITY IS A PRIVATE, ENGLISH-LANGUAGE CAMPUS UNIVERSITY AND PART OF THE GLOBAL SCHAFFHAUSEN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (SIT) ECOSYSTEM.

There is a lot to learn about the proprietary Continuous Fiber Coextrusion (CFC) technology. We look forward to a new level of knowledge sharing and best practice exchange with our new partners. But also Jacobs University and SIT students will get the opportunity to explore educational resources, participate in training programs and lectures and experiment with our proprietary 3D printing technology through access to the lab.?

“This agreement marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration in research, teaching, and knowledge transfer in a highly innovative and disruptive technology environment”, said Jacobs University President Professor Fabio Pammolli.
