The company opens a Distribution Center in the city of Extrema, which will be responsible for serving the South, Southeast and Central-West regions. Focused on its growth strategy in the pet food segment in Brazil, Mars, a global leader in the food sector and owner of well-known brands around the world, such as Pedigree, Whiskas, Dreamies and Optimum, opens its new Distribution Center (DC), located in Extrema, Minas Gerais. With investments of R$30 million focused on operational, structural and technological services, the new DC expands Mars Pet Nutrition's direct service coverage capacity and brings technological innovations to the pet food sector. Boehringer Ingelheim announced the launch of VAXXITEK HVT+IBD+H5, a new trivalent vaccine for poultry that offers protection against Marek’s disease, Infectious Bursal Disease and H5 avian influenza in one shot. The vaccine will first launch in Egypt in February 2025. VAXXITEK HVT+IBD+H5 is manufactured in the US where it has been licensed since 2023; however, avian influenza vaccination is currently not permitted in the US. (company press release).

?? The International Fair for Pet Professionals, Iberzoo Propet 2025, closed its eighth edition on February 28 - 16th in the case of Propet - with a record number of participants.
