On December 7, the People's Government of Anhui Province issued the "Notice on the Implementation Plan of Carbon Peak in Anhui Province". Promote clean energy alternatives to coal-fired kilns, and gradually phase out gas generators in iron and steel enterprises. Orderly develop short-process electric furnace steelmaking, and encourage blast furnace-converter long-process transformation to short-process processes. Explore cutting-edge technology applications such as natural gas direct ironmaking, blast furnace oxygen-enriched smelting, hydrogen smelting, waste heat recovery, and comprehensive utilization of metallurgical slag.
