Anger & Sadness, the Two Cousins

Anger is seen as common emotions on streets, workplace & even within families. Anger is also associated with Ego. Anger is another version of sadness. When we act under anger we do feel sad deeply within us . Anger is active form of sadness, whereas sadness is passive form of anger. When we are not able to express anger, We grow sadness within. So, when we are angry we need to search sadness within. Why are we sad ? what is it about which we are sad?
When we are able to mask our negative emotions like sadness overcoming our false prestige, we have taken first step towards resolution of sadness . We may be in position to manage our anger, piercing the pretense of self prestige & ego.
In order to eliminate anger first step is to find out the basic cause why are we sad? What is it about it? If we are successful to eliminate sadness, then anger would vanish automatically. The only way to eliminate sadness is by promoting or cultivating Happiness.
When we look around there may be several reason to be sad but we need to locate reasons to be Happy. It is the joy of small things in life, which matters. Sadness may originate when misunderstanding between people, family members. Sadness leads to outburst of anger, which leads to tears on other person.
One of the way to negotiate sadness is when our views are contradicted we should not take as insult. We should boldly accept the disagreement. We need to cultivate habit to like something which we had been disliking. In short we need to broaden our choices. When our choices & likings are wider the chances of being happy are higher. If I like both tea and coffee, I would be happy if when, either of them is offered. Our chances of being Happy are higher than when we like only tea or coffee. So, we need to practice reworking on our tastes & attitudes. In short we need to be more liberal & tolerant.
