Merkel lykkedes med at s?tte Tyskland i centrum og gendanne respekten for Tyskland. Det startede godt og fungerede godt i en l?ngere ?rr?kke. Alt det er s?rdeles positivt, men ikke noget den almindelige tysker nyder ret meget fordel af i sin dagligdag. Tv?rtimod er Tyskland blevet tung og bureaukratisk. Modsat tidligere i historien mislykkedes tyskerne med at omstille deres samfund. Eksempel 1. Den tyske bilbranche, hvor jeg startede min karriere for 20 ?r siden, kan hele branchen sammenlignes med Nokias manglende evne til at omstille sig efter at Apple introducerede ipod, iPhone, mv. Omstillingen i bilbranchen sker i h?j grad, fordi EU-lovgivningen forbyder salg af benzin- og dieselbiler i 2035. Eksempel 2. Den gr?nne omstilling har v?ret meget mangelfuld. Eksempel 3. Tyskland har v?ret meget d?rligere til at digitalisere end Danmark. P? eu-plan deltog Tyskland meget aktivt i den absurde GDPR lovgivning som f?rt medf?rt ?get omkostninger for virksomhederne og et marked for advokater, i stedet for at sikre at vores persondata h?ndteres ansvarligt. Ad 1 'lead with calm': The licence fees demanded for mobile phone licences during her chancellorship, which in conjunction with the lack of requirements for network coverage and its performance, laid the foundation for the still miserable mobile phone network across large parts of Germany. Ad 2 'stick to your values': Would you be so kind to explain the advantages of these ‘values’ over refugees to citizens in Solingen, Mannheim, Wolmirstedt, Unterliederbach and elsewhere? Ad 3 'long-term vision': Would you also categorise Merkel's massive investments in rail infrastructure and ensuring sufficient domestically generated electrical energy as ‘long-term vision’? If so, then probably in a negative sense.
