Android Vs. iOS? Which one is more suitable?

Don't get puzzled on the consistent battle between Android Vs iOS? No doubt Android and iOS enjoys huge prestige in their respective market segments. But still the popularity amongst one comes most in question? Since 2007 and 2008 their launch years have swayed us along so many years in becoming adapted on their usage that we still needs to find the differentiation in them in terms of  the better functionalities, price brackets and its market share when going to finalize a purchase decision.

Android has remained dominant in the market with their modest income and lesser number of stores available whereas iOS gains major source of its income through ads. There are lot of stunning features available in Android captivating the eyes of the customers, thanks to the large number of phones on sale. Android works with the open source operating system such as CyanogenMod or Paranoid Android to name a few. The developers get extra liberty to access deep-rooted into the operating system itself. iOS takes a long drawn approach in developing apps ultimately losing the grip of becoming market leader in the hands of Android.

Google's Android and Apple's iOS are operating systems commonly found in smartphones and tablets. The design elements based on the user interface of Android is Linux based and some of open source whereas iOS are more customized from top to bottom. Android is much of love for the users to change the UI as per their choice. Whether it is homescreen or lockscreen or whether you not okay with the look of default fonts? Still, you have a choice just to change them. Users now have an option of making their task easy on Android without making much of changes; the phone carries pre-installation features starting from day 1.

One such phone is the famous Android phone which has given "value for money" to its users simply because of the highly-customized feature of Android. Google Android so far has surprised the users with one major Android update for each handset whereas Apple iOS has four major updates since its launch in 2011. However, Android Lollipop disappointed the marketer in making only 17.1 % of market share whereas it takes less than six months for a new iOS version to achieve 80% market share. Nevertheless, developing an iOS app proves 20-30% cheaper as compared to Android application.

As we see the overall market trend, Android is much in demand over iOS irrespective of taking much longer time and higher costs in developing apps. Users having most of the options for exploring different varieties of models launched every month, the appearance and number of apps available to download still catches the interest of users for getting hooked to Android. Overall good coverage it provides where some or less are non-existent in iOS. Go ahead Android! You have the stamina to remain the "Master King" of  this profitable market.
