ANDROID MAGIC JELLY BEAN UPDATE DESTROYED MY PHONE!

I've had a Motorola Moto G for about a year and was perfectly happy with it.  It was super tricked-out with apps and a contact lists.

I got tired of constant reminders to update my phone to the new Android operating system. Against my better judgment, and with out checking for problems, I hit the update button.  I should have check for problems on the Internet before doing so.

The top photo is from this ARTICLE/  My contact list is so screwed up, I can’t make heads or tails out of it. I can no longer connect to my wireless router. Half the time some of the widgets don’t work and I lost my power center widget.

I did a hard reset to restore it to the factory original but it’s not working either.  It wiped everything clean but rebooted with the same 5.1 operating system/

A quick check on the Internet shows several websites full of complaints with this update - AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE.!

There may not be away to restore the old system  as others say, leaving me now to reinstall everything I had an live with this and correct other problems one at a time.  Damn, I hate you people for this.
