Andav Capital LLC is a New York-based investment firm providing strategic capital, flexible structuring, and dedicated advisory to tech-enabled early stage companies with underserved founders.

Critically, we have aligned our own capital with our conviction. 

Our genesis is visceral. For too long, we have witnessed the persistent and significant undervaluation of women – as managers, entrepreneurs, consumers, and stewards of capital.  We are tired of the fallacy of the “pipeline problem.” And, we do not believe the solution is “more mentoring,” closing the “confidence gap,” or more work-life balance. In fact, we never did.

We believe that, with the right investment manager, the pervasive misvaluation of women presents opportunistic and value-oriented investment situations. Critically, we have aligned our own capital with this conviction. Our investments in women seek to outperform benchmark alternative investment returns, and our definition of sustainable finance is grounded in the realism of capital markets: we expressly decline investments with implied concessionary returns.

At Andav Capital, we provide structured credit and bespoke equity solutions that align our long-term interests with those of stakeholders throughout the capital structure. We respect portfolio theory and the merits of diversification, yet we are intentionally and substantively concentrated in our portfolio companies to achieve meaningful financial-alignment and preserve significant upside opportunity.

We also know capital alone is insufficient. We are active partners. Our investment thesis is fundamentally predicated on de-risking our portfolio companies through substantial and symbiotic partnership with executive teams, provision of strategic insight, and introduction of prudent operational and corporate governance practices.

To date, we have diligenced 100+ female-founded technology companies. In doing so, we have curated an exceptional investment portfolio. In addition to our sector focus, we have been fortunate to source significant and proprietary deal flow for B2B and B2C software-as-service (SaaS) companies founded by women. 

We are grateful for the vast number of champions who are already on board, in spirit and kind. And, to be sure, we are not trying to convince the skeptics of our investment thesis. We are courteously providing notice: get on board, get out of our way, or get run over by some alpha women.
