Anchors Around Us
There are times when we all need an anchor. Someone to hold firm to when the waves of life threaten to drown us. The good news is that they are "All Around Us."
1.) Faith Every Day
In yesterdays example on broken promises, the person who broke it can still be your anchor. Knowing that requires both a continued faith in them and forgiveness. We all know that forgiveness is tough. It's critical to remember that faith and forgiveness free us too. We no longer have to carry the chain and the anchor on our own.
2.) Joy Every Hour
Take joy in the person who is holding you tight. It's hard to have joy without gratitude. The reason they are being the anchor you need is that it brings joy within them to do so. They are there to help.
3.) Love Every Minute
If you are the anchor, you may not always love it. Being that anchor requires a certain amount of love for another, or you wouldn't be doing it in the first place.
4.) Hope In Each Second
Whether you are the one who needs the anchor or the anchor someone needs, each of you can find hope in the chain that holds it, strengthening the both of you as you are pulled back to shore. The reciprocity factor is the supernatural power that binds and creates the hope within us, and the hope for us.
