The analysis from 1998 to 2021 revealed several critical insights, showing the strong relationship between high operating expenses and bankruptcy, along with the significant impact of economic downturns on restaurant survival. With visualizations that highlight trends over time, this approach offers invaluable guidance for restaurant businesses looking to avoid financial pitfalls.
This project not only enhanced my SQL and Power BI skills but also underscored the power of data in making proactive business decisions. I’m excited to apply these insights to help businesses thrive in an increasingly competitive landscape.
