Analysis of common faults of Truck Scales

1. Display drift

Phenomenon: the instrument display is unstable?with constantly change, at least?is?dozens of kg, and more is hundreds of kg.

Causes: the analog part of the instrument is damaged, power supply is faulty, signal changes caused by sensor, junction box, cable and other faults, debris blockage between scale platform and foundation, no gap between limit bolt and foundation, etc.

2.?The weighing is inaccurate

Phenomenon: the weighing error is large.

Cause: there are problems with the scale platform and the foundation, the instrument calibration is inaccurate, the analog part of the instrument is bad, the sensor and junction box have problems, and the four corners have errors?etc..

3. Display?show positive or negative overload

Phenomenon: for example,?XK3190 series instrument shows【Err03】positive overload or shows [ERR02] negative overload.

Cause: the instrument is damaged, the power supply of the bridge is abnormal, the sensor, junction box, DB-9 plug and other problems cause a large change in signal. If a scale is not debugged, the fault will be eliminated automatically after commissioning. Note: other reserved.

4. Boot without self-test

Phenomenon: there is no display or display of some stroke segments after the instrument is powered on, and some are accompanied by buzzer.

Cause: external 220V power supply and power supply circuit (line, fuse pipe, transformer in machine, three-end voltage stabilized power supply) are faulty, and the instrument PCB board is damaged or LED display pipe is damaged or the wiring is off.

5. No return to zero after startup or unloading

Phenomenon: when the power is turned on, the instrument will not be displayed as zero after self inspection, and there is an error prompt or a relatively stable value, or the positive or negative value will be displayed after the vehicle is weighed down, and the zero position will not be displayed.

Cause: the instrument amplification part has failure, sensor performance changes (lag, drift, etc.), and there is debris jam between the scale body and the foundation.
