Analog Circuit Design & Development Engineer
Analog Circuit Design & Development Engineer
Job description
As a design & development engineer, you will collaborate closely with product and
system engineers and have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of company’s
product and technology.
In this position, you will develop analog circuits and follow up company’s development
process for on-time transfer to mass production.
Your responsibilities will include:
? Use a suite of software environments for the behavioral modeling and the
verification of complex mixed-signal integrated circuit systems.
? Develop essential analog circuit blocks such as amplifiers, comparators,
bandgap circuits, oscillators, and analog-to-digital converters.
? Validate datasheet specification via top-level simulations.
? Evaluate and debug circuits at either wafer or product level.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess either 2+ years field experience or a master’s
degree in electrical engineering (including coursework applicable to analog integrated
circuit design, and strong theoretical background in circuit analysis, microelectronic
device, or signal processing).
- Experience with schematic entry, layout software, integrated circuit modeling
- Experience with circuit simulation using SPICE-like simulators.
- Excellent communication, documentation, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Understanding of laboratory procedures and basic electronic lab equipment
such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and soldering equipment.
- Familiarity with UNIX-based operating systems. Familiarity with any of the
following software tools in beneficial: Candence Analog Design Environment,
SPICE, Verilog.
