Twitter did not add any new monthly active users in the past three months, but said 12 percent more users are accessing the site on a daily basis than in the same quarter last year.... But the company noted that there’s been a 25 percent reduction in reports of abuse at the same time the number of abusive accounts it takes action on has increased by tenfold.
Thirteen years after launching and less than five years after hitting 1 billion, Facebook now has 2 billion monthly active users.
Facebook is rolling out it’s in-stream video ads as it properly becomes a video platform. Will you keep watching that funny cat video if just before the reveal you have to watch a 10 second laundry ad? Well you’re more likley to than skipping past it in feed.

Snapchat is making a daily news show with NBC. We increasingly get our news from the social platforms, so a dedicated Snap news show makes sense, and more evidence of content being platform bait.

Buzzfeed have made a connected hot plate that syncs up to its Tasty videos to heat your meal as you follow the cooking steps
eBay is going to let you shop using photos as an input for all those weird products and tools you can’t quite describe
