Amsel Medical Announces the Appointment of New Board Member

Noam Karstaedt to join Amsel as a new Board Member.

March 14, 2024 – Cambridge, Mass. Amsel Medical today announced that Noam Karstaedt has been appointed to a new Board position effective February 29, 2024.? With the addition of this appointment, Amsel Medical will have five full time Board members and three Board Observers.

About Noam Karstaedt

Noam Karstaedt has been active in startups and Israeli Venture Capital from 1992. Initially he was a partner in Medmax Ventures, the first VC fund dedicated to early-stage life science opportunities in Israel. In 1998 he raised and managed a second fund, Denali Ventures. Exits from these funds include ESC Medical (today Lumenis), D Pharm and Hyperroll and Gamidacell. Noam currently works with innovative, early-stage ventures on strategy and fundraising and is a Board member of Amsel Medical and MazeBolt Technologies. He has held management and consulting positions in the United States and Israel including a period in San Francisco with Booz and Company (now Strategy&). Noam has a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg South Africa and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, California.
