AMSA 2023 Southwestern Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest

The 2023 Southwestern Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest was held on
Sunday, January 29th, with 106 students from 19 programs competing for the title.
The A-Division champion team was Washington State University , coached by Dr. Blake Foraker, and the Reserve Champion team was Clarendon College coached by Tate Corliss .
The B-Division champion team was 美国德克萨斯A&M大学 , coached by Trent Stolowski , Lauren Lee , and coordinated by Jennifer Wyle . The Reserve Champion team was Texas Tech University , coached by Shae Sarchet and Dr. Mark Miller .

The high individuals received a $1,000 Dr. Gary C. Smith Scholarship funded by the BELLINGER FOUNDATION .
The A-Division high individual was Christine Morris - East Texas A&M University , and the B-Division high individual was Zachary Hoelscher - 美国德克萨斯A&M大学 .
