?? An up-to-date soft copy of your resume

?? Your target industry and preferred company size

?? Your desired salary range

Step 1: Open Anthropic Claude.ai and this prompt:

"Update this LinkedIn header to emphasize that I am an experienced [insert your current professional role] who is looking to join a team: [Copy & Paste Your LinkedIn Header here]"

Step 2: Prompt Claude.ai to help you add your own voice by using clear descriptors of what type of tone, experience, and feeling you want to convey.

"Revise this to be [insert descriptor of choice such as witty, conversational, etc.]"

Step 3: In the same thread attach resume to Claude.ai and write the following prompt:

"List 25 different professional job titles for a professional whose experience is captured in the resume attached and super powers include everything listed between """ and has [insert certifications and/or degrees here]. """ [copy and paste superpowers listed from the above headlines and/or add your own]"""

Step 4: Reply with the following prompt in the same thread to create a compilation of potential job titles for targeting or searching for across various job boards.

"Edit these 25 titles to emphasize according to application tracking systems key words for [insert ideal role] for [insert company/industry targets]"

Step 5: Review the responses and assess their accuracy, do they sound on track for your search? Do you know people in these roles? Have you heard these titles mentioned before? Once you ask yourself these questions, it's time to align the titles to your salary range and experience level.

"Based on the resume and current job market trends, list 20 titles that align with roles typically offering salaries between [INSERT SALARY HERE] USD annually on LinkedIn and other career boards that align with the experience in the attached document." [Reattach resume using the paperclip icon in Claude.ai]

Step 6: Now, it's time to return to the beginning and discover if you can add a little punch to your headline and make sure it represents you, your voice, and your aspirations.

Step 7: Review and make note of your your preferred phrases and terms to refresh your LinkedIn headline. Create a new document to store them for future reference, allowing you to adjust, enhance, and enrich your LinkedIn profile headline.

Step 8: Review the list of titles generated in this thread, choose the ones that resonate with you, and copy & paste them to a new document. Now it's time to explore the responsibilities associated with each role. Repeat this process for each title that caught your attention.

Once this list is generated, circle back to your resume and determine how they match up to what you are highlighting.
