I hope you don't mind but today's issue of A.M.P.lified is ALL personal with an unconventional format.
Why?
Because up until yesterday, I led a VERY unconventional life.
The picture above says it all!!!
I’m FINALLY done with Illinois and am permanently in Georgia.
Over 1,900+ days (5 1/2 years) of a long-distance relationship and then marriage.
Countless flights, airport parking, Ubers to see one other, and an INSANE amount of money to just be together.
It was the HARDEST thing we’ve EVER done but we wouldn’t trade it for the world.
We sacrificed for our kids. Our greatest gift.
The last 5 days were probably the most stressful we’ve been through but we took some time away from the move and had one last hoorah downtown.
I want to thank our family and friends for their unconditional support.
But I’d really like to thank the naysayers who said we’d never last and that we were stupid for doing a long-distance marriage.
We love proving y’all wrong.
Now, it’s time for the next chapter.
Now excuse me as I go make my world-famous margaritas to toast this monumental occasion!
