Ammonia catalytic oxidation

A process generating 200ppm ammonia as a wet gas, (from a keratein processing plant) benefitted from a system of mist arrestor and catalytic oxidation. 200ppm NH3 was reduced to 3ppm and the exhaust was ducted internally quite safely.

The iPURTECH system was installed and became operational within two days. Using Tronox catalyst media and UV activation the system runs without catalyst exchange for twelve months at least, which is when the UV emitters are changed.

Ideal for use where ammonia is a problem for health and the environment.
