Ami Meshulam, Rabbi Uzi Meshulam and The Yemenite Children Affair
The unbelievable story of Rabbi Uzi Meshulam and his fight to reveal the truth about the fate of many Yemeni children in Israel...
Although Uzi Meshulam passed away (aged 61), his son Ami Meshulam and members of Meshualm's family are still pursued by the state
After many years of suffering in an Israeli jail, Rabbi Uzi Meshulam died (he was very sick in the last few months of his life, he was deliberately poisoned while in jail).
(Some 2,000 - 4,000 Yemeni children went missing, died, or were abducted and given to foster families in Israel. It all happened in the '50s and '60s, a few years after Israel became a state).
Rabbi Uzi Meshulam had several meetings with senior Shin-Bet representative and some top police commanders in order to achieve an agreement (settlement) between Uzi Meshulam, his followers and the state. But practically those seniors, officials looked for ways to silence Rabbi Uzi Meshulam, his followers, and have them "out of the spotlights"
Meshulam's efforts and mission to have a full investigation and to bring justice to his Yemeni fellows only partly succeeded.
The police, Shin-Bet and the state used "dirty tricks", harassment and intimidation to silence or demotivate Uzi Meshulam and his group.
Israeli media, pro-government publication also played a role.
...Thousands of children were systematically kidnapped, neglected, or disappeared and later adopted in illegal processes, extra. (Potentially very serious crimes committed by officials, doctors, nurses... and backed by the government)

** Yahrzeit of Rabbi Uzi Meshulam?zt"l & the True Story About The Missing Yemenite Babies
Finally the truth came out just a week before the Yahrzeit (the date of passing) of Rabbi Uzi Meshulam. In 1994, Rabbi Uzi Meshulam zt"l revealed that thousands of Jewish babies and children of Yemenite and Sephardic origin were kidnapped by the Israel government in the 1950s and 60s. Many of these children were used for medical experimentation. Some of them were sold to couples without children in the United States. He obtained photos and documents as proof. His papers were sent abroad and he was arrested after a huge shootout took place at his home and one of his students was shot and killed by Israeli police. Rabbi Meshulam's lawyer, doctor, and mother in-law were killed and he himself was deliberately poisoned in prison. He passed away in 2013 at the age of 60 after suffering terrible agony for many years. His son Ami Meshulam was forced to run away to Canada after being repeatedly threatened by police. He returned to Israel and has recently been interviewed on TV (see interview below)...
Finally last week government documents have been released proving that indeed Yemenite children were used for horrifying medical experimentation. 3 families whose children were kidnapped by hospital staff in Israel shared their experiences with me. These Jewish families were poor immigrants. One family was Yemenite, another Iraqi, and another Ashkenazi. In all 3 families the babies were born healthy and were kidnapped by hospital staff. They were not allowed to even see the bodies of their babies and of course there was no proof of death and no burial.
** Uzi Meshulam (Wikipedia)
"Meshulam became widely known in the affair which began on Passover in 1994. During that time Meshulam distributed pamphlets which described the?kidnappings of Jewish Yemenite children ?and stated that around 4,500 children of Jewish Yemenite immigrants were taken from their parents by the Israeli authorities and given to rich?Ashkenazi Jews ?inside Israel and abroad during the late 1940s and early 1950s while the Yemenite immigrants were falsely told that their babies had died from illness or malnutrition.[1] ?After a local conflict between Meshulam and a sewer contractor escalated, police forces intervened, and in the stir of the emotions Meshulam and his followers called for a commission of inquiry into the disappearance of the Yemenite children.
Meshulam's followers barricaded his home with sandbags and stones and armed themselves with many weapons. As a result, a large force of police, snipers and a Special Patrol Unit surrounded Meshulam's house for weeks. On May 10, at 3:00 AM, Meshulam left his followers in his home in order to meet with the Police Commissioner?Assaf Hefetz . At this point the police forces broke into the house and 11 followers were arrested. One of them, 19-year-old Shlomi Assouline, was killed by the police during the raid.[2] [3] "
** (As a young police officer in Israel (Ramat-Gan, Merchav Dan), I was a part of the police force that surrounded the area where Uzi Meshulam and his followers barricaded themselves. Around 300 police officers, an anti-terror team (Yam"am) and a military force took part in the operation... about an hour or more later, one of Uzi's followers 19-year-old Shlomi Assouline,?was shot dead, he was shot by a sniper from a helicopter flying above... only many hours later the police have broken into Uzi Meshulam's house (!)
Many years later I met Ami Meshulam and a few of his followers in Quebec, Canada, where he was seeking asylum.)
# Not all statements published by pro-government supporters or newspapers reveal the full story or the truth.... sadly.
Yemenite Children Affair (Wikpedia)
** The?Yemenite Children Affair?(Hebrew :????? ???? ????,?romanized :?Parshat Yaldei Teiman) refers to the disappearance of mainly Yemenite Jewish babies and?toddlers ?of?immigrants ?to the newly founded state of?Israel ?from 1948 to 1954. The number of affected ranges from 1,000[1] ?to 5,000.[2] [3] ?The majority of immigrants arriving in Israel during this period were from?Yemen , with considerable numbers coming from?Iraq ,?Morocco ,?Tunisia ,?Libya ?and the?Balkans .[4] ?According to low estimates, one in eight children of Yemenite families disappeared.[5] ?Hundreds of documented statements made over the years by the parents of these infants allege that their children were removed from them. There have been allegations that no death certificates were issued, and that parents did not receive any information from Israeli and Jewish organizations as to what had happened to their infants.[6] ?However,?Yaacov Lozowick , Chief Archivist at the?Israel State Archives , has documented records showing that while the fate of a small fraction of the "missing" children cannot be traced, in the overwhelming majority of cases the children died in hospital, were buried, and the families notified, although these illnesses, deaths, and family notifications were handled with enormous insensitivity.[7] ?In Lozowick's opinion, "There was no crime, but there was a sin."[7]
Widespread accusations continue that the infants were given or sold to childless?Holocaust ?survivors in a covert systematic operation.[8] ?Conclusions reached by three separate official commissions set up to investigate the issue unanimously found that the majority of the children were buried having died from diseases.[8]
Israeli Prime Minister,?Benjamin Netanyahu , described the issue as ‘an open wound that continues to bleed’ for the many families not knowing what happened to the children who disappeared.[2]
..."The mystery surrounding the disappearance of these children has led to the claim that while many children were recorded as having died, in fact they were either kidnapped or were adopted by rich Ashkenazi Jews in Israel or abroad. The affair has been widely covered in the Israeli media through the decades, and so far four official investigating committees have been established to investigate the claims. The committees have investigated many hundreds of cases, and determined that the vast majority of children actually died and only in a minority cases they did not find enough evidence to determine what really happened.[7] ".

** Rabbi Uzi Meshulam's grandson refuses to enlist and goes on a hunger strike in prison
?Rabbi Meshulam was besieged in 1994 at his home in Yehud demanding an investigation into the abduction of Yemeni children, and one of his supporters was shot dead by the police.
The grandson wrote that after the incident "my grandfather said that in the army of this country we have nothing to serve"

My dear friend Shahar
Peace and blessings!
Hope you're well?
I'm really ashamed that I turn to you with my troubles, unfortunately, our daily condition totally disables us ...
Apparently, the corrupt elements in Israel are doing everything to finish my (destroy) life ...
I was wondering if you know any strong organizations with political influence in Europe that could help me and my family including my wife, sisters find refuge for our souls, we are broken and have no more power to see no justice in this world.
We want no money, no gold, and no citizenship, we just want a piece of land to provide some rest for our soul.
I do not know which countries pursuing justice without Israel's political influence that goes with evil, insult, and criminality regarding our topic.
I Thank you in advance for all your help
with great respect and Sorry for the interruption
