On April 11, 2022, Amex reported a total of 27 drill holes focused on near surface and on-strike expansion as well as definition drilling of the Denise Zone, part of the Eastern Gold Zone ("EGZ"), of the 100% owned 4,560 ha Perron Project located in the Abitibi, NW Québec.

Saliently, these drill results reveal that Denise can now be traced over >900 m from the Western mafic intrusion to the most Eastern historical intercept to date in the Denise structure. Amex intends to continue to drill to the East to further expand the Denise Zone along strike and improve the open pit footprint. In addition, Amex shall continue definition drilling on Western Denise particularly at the depth where there appears to be a high-grade gold trend developing.

Open to the East, at depth and potential new higher-grade pods: The Eastern Denise area with 41.3 m of 0.88 g/t Au (including 14.9 m of 1.5 g/t Au) at a vertical depth of ~230 m (DDH PE-22-468) and 19.1 m of 0.83 g/t Au (including 0.5 m of 19.64 g/t Au) at a vertical depth of ~105 m (DDH PE-22-480) suggest expansion potential to the east of the Denise Zone. We estimate an initial grade x thickness metric of 9.92 g/t Au x m for 9 intercepts, but expect more drilling to perhaps improve this.

The Western Denise Zone has provided the following results:

65m of 1.89 g/t Au (including 0.5 m of 197.35 g/t Au), at a vertical depth of ~345-390 m (DDH PE-21-422);

58.5 m of 1.82 g/t Au (including 0.5 m of 177.65 g/t Au), at a vertical depth of ~350-400 m (DDH PE-21-392);

166.5 m of 0.59 g/t Au (including 30.3 m of 1.16 g/t Au and 6m of 5.16 g/t Au), at a vertical depth of ~170-280 m (DDH PE-21-411);

16 m of 5.77 g/t Au (including 1.5 m of 59.97g/t Au), at a vertical depth of ~200 m (DDH PE-21-432).

We estimate a grade x thickness metric of 30.26 g/t Au x m for the disclosed 18 holes. Overall, we estimate for 101 holes a grade x thickness metric of 22.25 g/t Au x m which suggest a robust mineralized system.

The Denise Zone is hosted by a highly brecciated rhyolite at the southern margin of the Beaupré Block. Mineralization is associated with intense sericitization and variable silicification, along with disseminations of pyrite and lesser sphalerite. Gold mineralization occurs as disseminations as well as in high grade veinlets. Results expand upon and confirm expectations of the large zones of broad near-surface gold mineralization and continuity of the Denise Zone attaining >500 m of strike (was 300m in March 2021). A higher-grade core is emerging with a rake to the east at depth and now extend to ~500m vertically. Again, of note is that the Denise Zone lies initially a ~50 m from the High Grade Zone (HGZ) and that the mineralization width and grade are quite consistent and growing in strike length.

Optionality for mining scenarios: The Perron Project has potential for both bulk tonnage style and exceptionally high-grade vein-hosted gold zones with vertical depth extensions. The Denise and High Grade Zone (HGZ) and their close proximity provides some mining perspective and optionality for project development.?

Jacques Trottier, PhD, Executive Chairman of Amex Exploration stated: ?"I am very encouraged by the results from the Eastern Denise Zone as they clearly show the structure continues near surface and along strike as we predicted and is now a confirmed kilometric sized system. We have numerous additional holes pending and planned to better define this area along strike and to depth. In addition, our infill drilling on Western Denise has begun indicating multiple higher grade ore shoots within the larger Denise mineralized envelope. We have also defined the Western Denise down to 750 metres. The Denise Zone is wide open along strike and to depth and has the potential to be a very sizeable structure and potential open pit target".

Update - May 9, 2022:

Amex Exploration Inc. (AMX-V)

Amex reports up to 30.9m of 11.57g/t Au from Eastern Denise Expansion Zone and 10.1m of 3.71g/t Au from the E2 Gold Zone

?

?https://www.amexexploration.com/rss/news-2022/mexeports3090mof1157gtufromasternenisexpansiononeand1010mof371gtufromthe2oldone

On May 9, 2022), Amex announced a total of 9 drill holes focused on near surface and on-strike expansion as well as definition drilling of the Denise Zone on part of the Eastern Gold Zone ("EGZ"), of the Perron Project in Abitibi, Québec. Amex also reported 11 drills holes from the newly discovered E2 Gold Zone, all on the 100% owned 4,560 ha Perron Project.

Saliently, Hole PE-22-510 recorded one of the best intersections to date in the Denise Zone with 30.90m @ 11.57g/t Au. This high grade individual sample is said to be within a broader panel of mineralized rhyolite could add potential significant ounces at Perron. The drill results continue to demonstrate that tenure and grade of the eastern area of Denise is replicating the western Denise Zone which has been well defined with diamond drilling. These results indicate the potential for higher grade shoots forming within the eastern Denise, similar to what has been defined in the western Denise. ?We estimate an average grade x thickness metric of 21.01 g/t Au x m for the current disclosed 9 holes, likely skewed by Hole PE-22-510 with a 0.5m @ 601.47 g/t Au. Results continue to indicate that Denise Zone can be traced over >900 m from the Western mafic intrusion and remains open.

The E2 Gold Zone has now been expanded down to a vertical depth of 370 m and along strike for 325 m. We note the intercept of 10.1m @ 3.71g/t Au from the E2 Gold Zone. In addition, we are beginning to understand the geometry and plunge of the E2 Gold Zone, which roughly parallels the High Grade Zone. The proximity of the E2 and HGZ, ~250 metres apart, should be very positive in a potential underground mining scenario as the ounce-per-vertical-metre count could increase significantly.

Update - September 27, 2022:

High grade intercepts up to 10.05 g/t Au over 9.5 m and 68.66 g/t Au over 1.4 m define a potential new gold zone the Perron property in Abitibi Québec

?https://www.amexexploration.com/rss/news-2022/Amex-Makes-New-Gold-Discovery-Named-the-Team-Zone-with-High-Grade-Interce pts-up-to-10-05-g-t-Au-over-9-50-m-and-68-66-g-t-Au-over-1-40-m-at-Perron

On September 27, 2022 Amex announced a new gold discovery with high grade Intercepts up to 10.05 g/t Au over 9.5 m (DDH PE-22-548) and 68.66 g/t Au over 1.4 m (DDH PE-22-545) on the Perron project in the Abitibi region near Normétal, NW Québec. The new gold zone discovery, called the Team Zone, occurs ~600 m to the NE of the High Grade Zone (HGZ) and ~300 m NE of the E2 Gold Zone within the Beaupre rhyolite block, which is the host to the majority of gold identified to date on the Perron project (see:?https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/amex-exploration-inc-amx-v-reviews-2021-achievements-eric-lemieux/ and https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/amex-exploration-inc-amx-v-growing-gold-footprint-perron-eric-lemieux/).

Emerging new zone: Amex has drilled the Team Zone at multiple orientations, in order to identify the geometry of the system. As additional assay results are received and additional drillholes are completed, the 3-dimensional shape and size potential of the Team Zone should be revealed. To date, Amex has intercepted visible gold mineralization in 14 of 20 holes targeting the Team Zone over an area of ~200 m by 100 m and the zone remains open. Partial results have been disclosed and represent only the samples in each hole that were sent for screen metallic assays. We estimate an average grade x thickness metric of 18.94 g/t Au x m for 13 drill holes.

Well located: The Team Zone is located in the vicinity of the Normétal Fault in the midst of the other gold zones on Perron, suggesting a growing density of gold and polymetallic mineralization. This density could provide mining optionality in a well-located project in the heart of the Abitibi. The gold mineralization is associated with quartz-carbonate veins & tension veinlets which are at times folded and/or brecciated. The gold-bearing quartz veins are found in both rhyolite and mafic intrusive bodies, unlike many of the other gold zones at Perron which are lithologically controlled. The mineral assemblage however, comprising pyrite-pyrrhotite +/- sphalerite +/- chalcopyrite +/- visible gold, is similar to the Eastern Gold Zone mineralization.

Jacques Trottier, PhD, Executive Chairman of Amex Exploration, stated: ?"We are very excited by the amount of visible gold in the core of almost every hole drilled into the Team Zone. While we have been working to understand the size and geometry of this system, drilling has exceeded expectations. We have intercepted several panels of gold mineralization across a significant area of the north-eastern portion of the Beaupre Block. The Team Zone is delivering both high-grade gold in tension-type veins as well as nice wider composites of lower-grade mineralization. We look forward to the receipt of the fire assay results for the balance of today's reported holes as well as all assays for the balance of the un-released drillholes, in order to get a fulsome understanding of this very interesting new discovery. This zone is an important new discovery as it represents potentially a new deposit with its own gold resources that could be adding to the other known zones on the still under-explored Perron property. Consequently, we have decided to assign a drill to continue exploration on the Team Zone while the other drills are still dedicated to the EGZ, including the HGZ and Denise definition and expansion, and regional exploration".

Kelly Malcolm, Vice President of Amex Exploration, shall present an overview of the Amex's progress to date including the new Team Zone in an interactive 3D and 360o virtual tour using the VRIFY Platform on Wednesday September 28, 2022, at 10am EST.

Update - December 6, 2022:

Amex reports new significant drill hole intersections from the Team Gold Zone, including 6.75 g/t Au over 14.5m and 1.08 g/t Au over 163.5m at Perron

?

On December 6, 2022, Amex reported, on the Perron project in the Abitibi region near Normétal, NW Québec, updated results on the newly discovered Team Zone. Previous results were partial results from metallic sieve assays. Today's results represent the entirety of the sampled intervals of the reported holes. The Team Zone carries a combination of both high-grade gold over narrow intervals as well as wide zones of disseminated gold. The near-surface Team Zone occurs ~600 m to the NE of the High Grade Zone (HGZ) and ~300 m northeast of the E2 Gold Zone. The Team Zone is located along the northern limb of the Beaupré rhyolite block, which is the host to the majority of gold identified to date on the Perron project. Gold mineralization is associated with quartz-carbonate veins & tension veinlets which are at times folded and/or brecciated. In addition to the vein-hosted mineralization, there is a component of disseminated pyrite-associated gold.

?

Density of drill results increasing and potential mining scenarios optionality: To date, Amex has intercepted visible gold mineralization in 17 of 23 holes targeting the Team Zone over an area of ~300m by ~150m from surface to a depth of ~380m. Results include the pending fire assays as well as previously released high-grade intervals from the metallic sieve assaying technique. Salient drill results include: 6.75 g/t Au over 14.5m at a vertical depth of ~180m (DDH PE-22-548), including: 26.34 g/t Au over 1.5m and 32.6 g/t Au over 1.50m; 1.08 g/t Au over 163.5m beginning at a vertical depth of ~110m (DDH PE-22-554), including: 4.55 g/t Au over 3.5m and 11.17 g/t Au over 3m; 2.09 g/t Au over 7m at a vertical depth of ~160m, 1.07 g/t Au over 11.8m, 68.66 g/t Au over 1.4m (DDH PE-22-545); 1.69 g/t Au over 12.75m at a vertical depth of ~95m (DDH PE-22-546); 1.56 g/t Au over 15m at a vertical depth of ~165m (DDH PE-22-552); 19.04 g/t Au over 2.25m at a vertical depth of ~20m (DDH PE-22-556); 1.78 g/t Au over 24m at a vertical depth of ~80m (DDH PE-22-561). We estimate for 16 holes disclosed an average grade x thickness metric of 14.06 g/t Au x m.?We understand these new results exceed Amex's early expectations as many areas that looked weakly mineralized at best have returned appreciable disseminated gold and suggest a noteworthy mineralized system which could provide flexibility and optionality for future mining, with respect to underground or open pit mining. Additional results are pending from the ongoing drill program at this important emerging target that adds deposit density for future mine operations.

?

Jacques Trottier, PhD, Executive Chairman of Amex Exploration, stated: ?"With the receipt of the balance of the fire assays on the Team Zone, we are now starting to understand the geometry of the system. The volume of rock that has been affected by this mineralizing event, consisting of stockwork-type and tension-type veins and veinlets along with associated alteration, is quite extensive and I believe it has significant potential to grow both along strike and to depth. The fact that we have seen multiple occurrences of visible gold in the majority of holes targeting this zone is also very exciting. This is also the most significant discovery made to date along the northern limb of the Beaupre rhyolite. The Team Zone has become a priority for Amex and we will begin aggressively drilling it through the winter season."

Update - February 10, 2023:

Amex reports results from Team Zone with intersects of up to 4.73 g/t Au over 8.2m and 2.71 g/t Au over 10.5 m

?

Amex disclosed on February 9, 2023, results on the recently discovered Team Zone on the Perron project in the Abitibi region of NW Québec. The Team Zone occurs ~600 m to the NE of the High Grade Zone (HGZ) and ~300 m NE of the E2 Gold Zone. The Team Zone encompasses an area of ~300m x 250m from surface to a depth of ~400m and is shaping up to be a shallowly eastward-plunging body which begins at surface and is open to depth and to the east.

Results include:

PE-22-568: 4.73 g/t Au over 8.2m at a vertical depth of ~115m, including: 27.07 g/t Au over 1m;

PE-22-570: 2.71 g/t over 10.5m at a vertical depth of ~100m, including: 38.97 g/t Au over 0.5m;

PE-22-571: 2.69 g/t Au over 5m at a vertical depth of ~50m;

PE-22-580: 9.21 g/t Au over 3.9m at a vertical depth of ~210m and: 0.84 g/t Au over 14.40 m at a vertical depth of ~240m and: 72.06 g/t Au over 1m at a vertical depth of ~305m;

PE-22-583: 1.04 g/t Au over 26m at a vertical depth of ~394m.

These results represent continued testing of the extents, grade, and dimensions of the Team Zone on Perron. We estimate an average grade x thickness metric of 9.9 g/t Au x m for 9 holes disclosed and an overall metric of 13.71 g/t Au x m. Drilling was conducted in several orientations in order to better identify controls on mineralization. The Team Zone is open at depth and along strike and is emerging as the most exciting and substantial new target that was generated from the regional exploration campaign in the past year. The Zone is also parallel and adjacent to the E2 Gold Zone to the SW, and to the 210 & Upper 210 to the NW. Structural interpretation indicates that the Upper 210 may occur on a similar structure to that of the Team Zone, and further drilling is required to test if they are connected.

Jacques Trottier, Executive Chairman of Amex, stated: "The Team Zone is shaping up to be a significant component of the overall mineralized system at Perron. It has now delivered gold mineralization in each drill hole, with a mix of both high-grade vein-hosted gold and lower grade stockwork and disseminated mineralization. Today's results, particularly in hole PE-22-580 with high grades up to 72.06 gram of gold over 1.00 metre, confirm the potential at depth in this system, and the balance of the drillholes affirm our earlier expectations of a widespread near surface orebody. In addition to the known mineralization, the Team Zone adds significantly to our regional targeting as it is a different style of mineralization than encountered elsewhere".

Update - May 29, 2023:

Amex expands Team Zone and delivers wide near surface drill intercepts of up to 1.7 g/t Au over 68 m including 7.89 g/t Au over 9.7 m

?

On May 29, 2023, Amex announced assay results from new follow-up and expansion drillholes on the Team Zone on the Perron project in the Abitibi region of NW Québec. The Team Zone occurs ~600 m to the NE of the High Grade Zone (HGZ) and ~300 m NE of the E2 Gold Zone. It is currently outlined over an area of 350 m x 200 m laterally and from surface to a depth of ~400 m. ?

Growing footprint: Highlight drill results include up to:

PE-23-627: 68m @ 1.70 g/t Au, including 7.89 g/t Au over 9.7 m, at a vertical depth between 135 and 195 m;

PE-22-588: 4m @ 8.68 g/t Au, including 19.89 g/t Au over 1.50 m, at a vertical depth of 140 m.

We estimate a grade x thickness metric of 21.77 g/t Au x m for all intercepts of the reported 7 drill holes with an average vertical depth of -183m. These results represent continued testing of the extents, grade, and dimensions of the Team Zone on Perron. We estimate an overall grade x thickness metric of 12.93 g/t Au x m for 32 drill hole intercepts (top cut at 50g/t Au).

The Team Zone sits within the Beaupre Rhyolite, host to all significant gold occurrences at the Perron Gold Project, at the contact of the Normetal Fault. Gold mineralization occurs within a relatively massive and silicified rhyolite host rock, within quartz-carbonate veins/veinlets containing pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, molybdenite, sphalerite and visible gold. Gold mineralization is also disseminated within the rhyolite host rock, in contrast with several other zones identified on the Perron Project to date. Recently completed structural interpretation by Laurentia Exploration, has identified several distinct trends to gold-bearing veins in the Team Zone. Visible-gold-bearing quartz-sulfide veins occur on NNW, NE, and NS trends. Gold-bearing (but not visible) quartz-sulfide veins occur on E-W, NW, and NS trends. Drilling has been optimized to intercept as many as possible of these vein sets with each hole. Amex is currently conducting 50-m spaced (3 dimensionally) definition drill of this gold system from surface to a depth of ~450 metres vertically. Drilling at Team Zone is ongoing and Amex is awaiting additional assay results which shall be released once results are received.

Jacques Trottier, PhD, Executive Chairman of Amex Exploration stated: ?"Today's results are largely focused on the expansion and definition of the Team Zone to the east, following the general northwest-southeast trend of the system. We are very excited to be seeing both high grade mineralization and longer intervals of near-continuous gold within the system as we continue to advance our understanding of the Team Zone. With any new zone it takes time to understand the system through modelling and drilling. The oriented drilling that we have been doing on the Team Zone since September has proven to be very helpful in targeting. We have identified five distinct orientations of gold-bearing veins and are adjusting drill targeting as we advance. Upcoming drilling, along with pending holes, will continue to delineate the zone at 50 metres centres as well as expanding along trend, particularly to the northwest towards the previously discovered 210 Gold Zone. This work will define the gold potential at the Team Zone".

We estimate a grade x thickness metric of 22.83 g/t Au x m for all intercepts of the reported 7 drill holes in the expanding SE sector. These results represent continued testing of the extents, grade, and dimensions of the Team Zone on the Perron Project. We estimate an overall grade x thickness metric of 15.17 g/t Au x m for 39 drill hole intercepts (top cut at 50 g/t Au).

Jacques Trottier, PhD, Executive Chairman of Amex Exploration stated: ?"Today's results are largely focused on the expansion and definition of the Team Zone to the southeast, following the general northwest-southeast trend of the system. The system is clearly plunging to the southeast, following the overall trend of anomalous mineralization. This indicates the possibility of multiple ore-shoots within the overall mineralized envelope, and presents the opportunity for a larger system along the southern contact of the Normetal fault. The grades seem to be improving to the southeast and this is very promising for continued high grade mineralization at depth, where we will look to tighten up our intercepts and evaluate the Team Zone for underground-type vein sets. Today's results are showing that the potential for that is quite strong, with high grades over thick potentially mineable intervals. We look forward to continued success as we drill off the Team Zone at 50 m centres from surface to approximately 450 m vertically".

Jacques continued, "On another note, the forest fires that have been affecting communities and exploration/mining throughout much of northern Quebec have largely been diminished in the Normetal area. To date, none of our facilities nor equipment have been damaged. We will resume core cutting next week and are eager to commence drilling once we are cleared to do so by governmental authorities. We thank the firefighters and agencies that have worked diligently to control the fires and keep the community of Normetal safe."

This is positive news in regards to the forest fires (see: https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/eric-lemieux-9468715_quebec-abitibi-jamesbay-activity-7071575252291461120-tx0f?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop).?The recent outline of the fire perimeter shows how close the fire was to Normétal. Indeed, kudos to the SOPFEU and others.

Update - July 11, 2023:

Amex resumes drilling at Perron Project in NW Abitibi, Québec

?

Amex Exploration announced on July 11, 2023, that it has resumed its gold exploration drilling program at its 100% owned Perron project located just outside the town of Normetal, Québec. Recall on June 5, 2023, Amex had reported that it had to cease exploration activities at the Perron project in accordance with a directive from the Ministère des Ressources Naturelles et des Forêts (Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources & Forest) (see: https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/eric-lemieux-9468715_quebec-abitibi-jamesbay-activity-7071575252291461120-tx0f?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop). ?Gratefully fires in the western Abitibi area have diminished and restrictions lifted in certain areas. The SOPFEU (https://sopfeu.qc.ca/en/) is currently battling over 51 fires in the Province of Québec and we applaud the hard work of all involved.

Amex confirms that none of its facilities nor equipment were damaged by the forest fires. Currently 4 drills are on site at the newly discovered Team Zone ?where on July 5, 2023, Amex disclosed more salient drill results (see: https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/eric-lemieux-9468715_quebec-abitibi-normetal-activity-7082410806243381248-K3-j?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop). The Team Zone situated on the Beaupré Rhyolite at the contact of the Normetal Fault is currently outlined over an area of 400 x 200 m laterally and from surface to a depth of >400 m. It lies ~ 600 m north of the High Grade Zone.

Jacques Trottier, Chairman of the Board, stated: "Thanks to the hard work of the fire fighters, the forest fires in the Normetal area are largely behind us and we are resuming our drilling with an immediate focus on the Team Zone. We have identified five distinct orientations of gold-bearing veins and we are delineating the zone at 50 metres centres as well as expanding along trend. Drilling on this target has gone exceptionally well as evidenced by our recent results and I look forward to the balance of the summer drilling and to reporting more results from our exploration work.

With respect to our regional exploration drill program we anticipate following up on the Gratien zone, the N110 corridor to the west, as well as the eastern VMS target later in the summer/fall. There is no shortage of exciting targets at Perron and I am very pleased to be back in the field".
