BASIS Independent Schools McClean has released the Class of 2023 college acceptances! Please see a few exciting stats below:??

100% of seniors were accepted to a Top 50 National and/or Global University?

93% of seniors were accepted to a Top 50 National University??

62% of seniors were accepted to a Top 25 National University?

Over 60% of Early Decision (ED) applicants were accepted into their first-choice college!??

• International students at Villanova College attended a Toronto Raptors NBA Basketball Game together, where they had a great time rooting on the team. See more information about our international students in Canada below.??

Amerigo Signature Updates ?

• Students in Saint Anthony's High School Future Business Leaders Club spent time speaking with Timm Chiusano last week, the Emmy-Award Winning Vice President of Production and Creative Services at a Fortune 100 Company. (He also has nearly 1 million followers on TikTok!) Students regularly have the privilege of getting career and life advice from industry giants, including:??Mr. Leonardo Vittini, the Vice President of the NY Metro Region for First Eagle Investments, Michael Stern, Managing Principal and Senior Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo, And Many More!??

• Bishop Montgomery High School Visual and Performing Arts Department held an Art Walk to showcase the students’ many artistic and musical talents! Students showcased their art, including drawings, paintings, photographs, graphic design, ceramics, jewelry and student films. The Thunder by Knight Jazz Ensemble and String Orchestra also performed.??

?Amerigo Select Updates?

Waring School ’s First Tech Challenge Robotics Team won the World Championship Title week! The team was the top out of 7000+ in the world at the event held in Houston, Texas. Waring has a long history of championship-winning robotics teams – the school’s Varsity First Lego League Team has won the Massachusetts State Championship twice. The school also offers students a MakersSpace with 3D printers, computers with CAD software, woodworking tools and sewing machines.??

Amerigo Canada Updates??

• Students at Regent Christian Academy are staying busy and having a great spring! All Amerigo students enjoyed a bowling trip together and are getting excited to spend an upcoming long weekend on Vancouver Island.??
• International students at Villanova College took part in The University of Waterloo Math Competition and a Mental Health Awareness Event where they learned about fun, relaxing hobbies like drumming, meditation and photography.?
• Fort Erie International Academy students attended Prom last weekend and enjoyed the celebration together! Grade 12 English Class students also traveled to the Stratford Festival to see King Lear performed.??

• Fort Erie is has planned an extensive Orientation Program for the 2023-24 school year, and are requesting that all International Students arrive on August 26 and August 27. Orientation will run from August 28-30, with classes beginning on August 31.??
