Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free.

We have a fundamental problem in America. The problem is 12 million illegal aliens that were invited in by our former president, Joe Biden. This population consists of terrorists, criminal, ne'er-do-wells out to game the system who have no desire to become American Citizens It also includes those seeking asylum and those who want to become American citizens and were told, by our former president, that this was the way to do it.

These last, sincere groups are the problem. We seem to be dogmatically grouping them with the undesirables. we say "throw them out". that is a simplistic solution that is cruel and unfair.

These are the same people as our ancestors who came here for a better life. These people who were told to cross our border were horribly lied to , told this was the way to do it, however they were cruelly denied the path to citizenship by former administration, that appears to hate people, hate the American ideal. It appears, and i say "appears" that this former administration hated the words that sum up our American Ideals.

I have heard it said "How do we differentiate those that came here seeking to be citizens from the undesirables, criminals and terrorists?" Seriously? how did we differentiate them at Ellis Island? Have we become too dull, stupid or lazy that it is too much trouble to give those who are our brothers and sisters, yearning to be free a path to citizenship?

if that be the case, they are more American than we are, they have more of a right to be here than those of us that deem them unworthy to stay, these who we would coldly discard those that risked life and limb, faced death, spent their fortune and spent themselves to come here, more than a few lost their lives, and fortune as did our ancestors and our founding fathers who fought for our American Freedom and Ideals.

I am deeply dismayed by what previously happened, by the cruelty of inviting these people while at the same time, intentionally denying them the path to citizenship that was falsely being offered to them. Also at the same time, cruelly inviting criminals and terrorist who endanger and harm American citizens as well as these who are sincere.

how can we throw away our ideals along with those who came here looking for a new life as did our ancestors?

This deeply offends me.

I am deeply dismayed by this new advocacy that would throw them out, throw them back into the terror of the violent and criminal nations they were escaping from. Now their chances of survival are ten time worse since these miscreant nations they were escaping from know they despised them.

i fear this new paradigm is even worse than the old one under Biden.

I see cruelty and indifference in our current administrators, i find their cruelty and hatred extremely offensive. I feel compassion for People yearning to be free are so treated in violation of all our American Ideals.

We must STOP. BACK UP. and we MUST honor our ideals, you know, the ones our ancestors died to defend, and we must offer to Vet and offer our new ancestors a place at our table, a legitimate path to freedom. Those who do not accept that offer must be deported just as they were at Ellis Island. This is fair, this is American, have we forgotten? Oh yes, it will cost us something to build legal immigration centers to Vet these people, to offer them a path to citizenship, to teach them our noble history and English and offer them a chance to pledge allegiance to our Nation and the our ideals as written on the Statue of Liberty. It seems we now have a lot on unemployed federal workers needing new jobs, jobs that will help American Ideals.

Otherwise, we should tear down the Statue of Liberty, if we desire to abandon the noble ideals inscribed on her, those Ideals that were once written in our hearts.
