AMERICA'S BLACK VOTE
RACISM IN AMERICA
poem by:?Kenvil Atkins Written on Feb 13, 2024
CABELA’S, THEY ALL CRIED OUT
Oh, look see we are not racist we hired a black girl.
And the cock crow three times a story left untold.
Our ratings are poor our employees don’t measure up.
There is a brown girl in the ring let’s lynch her says he
I was told she was top notch who cares we are all fed up.
To bring back glory to our Cabela’s store that's our story.
(1)
Putting up with the Johnsons our store is on edge.
On the brink on the edge, a hard place presumes dead.
Forty minutes of waiting for customers could not be wrong.
They ask him to find a way to fire the black girl or he is done.
A manager's plight trying to seduce the black girl was no fun.
Retaliation was the only solution he offered her a promotion.
(2)
Waited patiently a jolly calculating fellow but also yellow.
Giving his brain a racking to find the remedy still lacking.

Let's just send Ann packing the police are truly our lackey!
They can drag her in cuffs at our discretion yeah so Tackey.
The police did just that police you see blind mice at that.
Playing up to King Rat for bits and pieces of silver fat

Saying we are not racist we hire a black girl load of rubbish.
The police cuff her and refuse to read her her rights you know
Parade her down the narrow corridor and into the waiting car
Marooned her in a small cell still wondering what the hell
Who is to know says the police only a black girl all is well
But you never can tell until your story touches a nerve
They are not all racist but opportunists just wait and see
