THIS IS AMERICA

One side is furious and the other is joyful.

One side views the United States as crime-ridden, miserable, perverted, overrun by drugs and verminous aliens..a nation that has grown weak and is in decline. On its present course, it sees only a dark and ominous future of decayed dreams and carnage. It believes that if we do not return to Christ and reclaim traditional values, if men don’t get tough and women don’t resume their natural roles as wives and mothers, America is lost.

The other side views the United States as thriving, hopeful, tolerant, rich in opportunity and still a beacon of liberty to those who seek a better life. It sees a bright and fulfilling future where dreams can soar and success is the reward for hard work. It believes that all Americans ought to have the freedom to choose what and in whom they place their faith and trust. It encourages every human being to find value in personal accomplishment, and that in so doing, the promise of America will endure.

In just over three weeks, we shall decide in which America we’ll live.
