America must fight for its credibility in education!
MS. Kathy S.Robinson, Turner
I enjoy working with children of all ages, individuals, and families to help them acquire skills they need, to improve their life struggles and to help them move forward to reach their goals.
I went to college in the 70's and 80's but I knew there were many students that cheated or paid to have their work done by someone else. When I first realized it I was going to to Cal State East Bay. My teachers would come in write on the board then leave. I didn't understand what was happening until I asked how we were to finish our work without help. They said anyway you can. I was shocked and confused then the others students said just have someone else do the work. That year I got a "F" in chemistry and I had never got that great before. So I decided to look for another college. I found JFK in Orinda the teachers were hands on, amazing and very helpful when it came to?providing resources. I soon discovered that several students had their secretaries do their work and assignments. I couldn't believe it but they just needed to get the degree with a high grade. As I took classes at other schools It was happening everywhere. U C berkeley was number one and I had a friend that was from Afghanistan she would?guarantee an B or A so she could make $1000 per assignment.?They would ask for a "TUTOR" but they really wanted someone to do the work! That is why I say America has a large pool of unskilled professionals. We must be very careful when we hire because too many graduates can't do the work or even learn to.
This is very hard to stop because our system doesn't really care! The teachers just want a full class size, people that finish and get good greats. You see they must do so to keep their jobs. In the college setting you must have a job at several sites to make a good living and get your ten year. How the student finish, the way they do it and what they learn is not the most important goal or most important reason to teach. Our systems must change and how we pay our staff must be in a much more fair way.?That will encourage educational goal reaching as a personal priority for all students. Then we must create a way to determine how much they have learned and how they show it before graduation.
As I have said over and over again America was built on Lies, cheating, stealing, and other ways to acquire wealth, property and ownership. It is killing our?workforce, destroying our ability to truly be professional in any field and have any credibility around the world.
