America, Greyhound and Hostels

You feel a bit heavy aged? The wear and tear of everyday life is unbearable? The tedium vitae is following you and you have never been able to take part in the Camel Trophy? No problem, there is a remedy for all of you, organize a nice holiday in the US, but please, just bought the plane ticket and managed all movements with the legendary historic Greyhound bus company, believe me, it will be an unforgettable experience . The US, you know, are a continent which has developed itself on the motor vehicles conception  and its endless distances, its boundless spaces, have an irresistible lure even for the lazy ones. It’s ok exploring the US  by car , even better with motorbike, when you could and you were young men, even hitchhiking, stopping the truck drivers, but if you have not tried to travel the USA with the Greyhound, you do not really know this Country, and its real essence. Oh I forgot, for overnight stay, I suggest , I recommend you to stay exclusively in the hostels scattered throughout the American continent. We were talking about the Greyhound, well, this means of transport, it is not just a convenient vehicle, punctual and indestructible (I’ve never seen a broked down Greyhound), but it is the opportunity to get in contact with the US culture, with its people, its mindset and then it is a moment of learning and understand this stars and stripes society. Greyhound serves all the USA  territory it’s cheap, if you buy the carnet of tickets, it is always on time, and will give you the opportunity to meet lots of people, talk to them, know their worlds, their stories, their dreams and aspirations, learning a lot, so many things. You could travel at night and by day, look at the view from its huge windows, and stay cool (sometimes freeze) with its air-conditioned, in short, a unique and wonderful experience. In 1992 with my brother, I spent two months in the States, I made twice the coast to coast with Greyhound and I met a lot of people, I saw a lot of wonderful places, it was an awesome and unique experience, to sleep then, as I said use the hostels that are perfect for you. In the hostels you will know a lot of people boys, girls from all parts of the world, share with them your trip, make many friends. Are you still there? C’mon  take a Greyhound and let the driving to us !! Go Greyhound !!
