After seeing political posts about the election on this platform that are so disrespectful, no stupid, I figured I would add my two cents for what it is worth.

Agreed, times have changed as they always do for good or bad, but only one thing enables this to happen and it is our country and its military which is comprised of ALL types of people from different backgrounds and ethnicities. Black, white, yellow, brown—you name it.? THEY all support this country for the freedom of belief and honor while standing fast for the right for all Americans to vote and live in the freedom of Democracy.

Being a Veteran myself and not seeing any wars or fighting during that semi-peaceful time of my service I did do time in Korea, the Philippines, Japan and my entire enlistment was overseas. My father served, his father served and I followed suit because we loved our country and believe in the American ways which are VERY different than MOST countries. I know, I’ve lived in them. Let’s not be those countries.

With this, I Salute ALL our Veterans—to the ones that gave their lives, family and friends for US as well as those that are NOW doing this. Putting their lives in ultimate danger so we can have idiots say things that are not true. And I am including the News Networks which seem to be pushing anarchy and false narratives to drive Americans apart and confuse the average person to believe this country is flawed.

Well, it’s not. It’s the best, most powerful and united country in the world—even with our differences. I plead for those that want to disrupt this time by flagrant disregard for what we are about to stop and thank our Veterans for what they have given us this Veterans Day.
