Emergency Landing of Libyan Air Ambulance at Mitiga Airport

On January 27, 2024, a Libyan Air Ambulance Cessna 560XL Citation XLS, registered as 5A-DRK, experienced a technical failure during an emergency ambulance mission from Tripoli-Mitiga International Airport (MJI) to Benghazi-Benina International Airport (BEN). The aircraft, forced to return to MJI, veered off the runway during an emergency landing around 09:12 local time. The incident at Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli, Libya, resulted in no fatalities or material damage, as confirmed by the Libyan Ministry of Transportation. Fatal Embraer Crop Duster Crash in S?o Paulo, Brazil

On January 27, 2024, around 10:30 LT, an Embraer EMB-202A Ipanema agricultural plane, registered PT-VYS and operated by Pachu Avia??o Agrícola LTDA, crashed during a maneuver at Fazenda Conquista, near Palestina, S?o Paulo, Brazil. The 48-year-old pilot, Ricardo Lima, was killed in the incident while conducting a crop-dusting operation over a sugarcane plantation. SERIPA IV, a regional body of Brazil's Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (CENIPA), is investigating the crash's causes. HondaJet Runway Excursion at Oita Airport

On January 28, 2024, at 14:10 local time, a Honda HA-420 HondaJet operated by Honda Airways veered off the runway during a training landing at Oita Airport (OIT/RJFO), Japan. The incident involved a runway excursion to the left side of runway 01, resulting in the aircraft coming to a halt on the grass, heading south, without any injuries to the three occupants onboard.
