COVER STORY
Chef (Andre) Rush : Saving the Lives of Veterans and Inspiring Children
It's with honor that we announce this month's cover story, Chef (Andre) Rush !
Chef Rush's commitment to enriching the lives of veterans and children through his culinary expertise is truly inspiring. His compelling journey, vividly narrated in our latest issue, not only highlights his extraordinary culinary skills but also his profound sense of empathy and dedication towards societal upliftment. Our readers will find Chef Rush's story both enlightening and motivating, as it provides a unique perspective on the power of food as a tool for change and healing.
"Chef Andre Rush is one of the most decorated retired Army Master Sergeants (Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, and the Belgium Peace Medal), to name a few, and a chef, having served under four US Presidential Administrations. The illustrious chef and military veteran also starred on?Gordon Ramsay’s “MasterChef” as a special guest judge after working together on the executively produced Tubi series “Kitchen Commando.” Most recently, Chef Rush was included in the long-awaited documentary?DRIVEN: The Tony Pearson Story, available now. Also known for his incredibly viral, over-the-top cooking content, Chef Rush is truly one-of-a-kind on his platforms,?amassing billions of views?between his?TikTok,?YouTube,?and?Instagram?channels.
Chef (Andre) Rush is also a world-renowned master of fitness, combative, and endurance training. He uses fitness and food to prepare in the best possible way of holistic medication and mental stimulation. Chef Rush is an extreme advocate for the military, kids, military sexual trauma/women, and homelessness, and he uses cooking to help military/civilians cope with mental issues such as PTSD. Like many others who have served, Chef Rush also deals with PTSD after serving over 20 years in the military, embarking on multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was also in the Pentagon during the 9/11 attacks on the US. Chef Rush is also known for his 2,222 daily push-ups that honor and bring awareness to suicide and mental wellness, as it’s reported that an average of 22 military veterans take their own lives every single day."
Chef (Andre) Rush, to say the least, is an extraordinary man with a heart of gold. Ira Bowman and I had the pleasure of interviewing Chef for this issue.
Thank you, Ira Bowman Bowman, for writing our cover story. We would also like to thank everyone on Chef's team!

In the heart of our mission at Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation (GGAF) compassion fuels every effort we make towards helping the homeless. Our aim is not merely to provide hats, gloves, and food but to touch lives, create connections, and inspire hope in the hearts of those we serve. We believe that everyone deserves warmth, both physical and emotional, especially during their toughest times. Our dedicated team continues to work relentlessly to ensure every individual feels seen, heard, and cared for. In the face of adversity, we stand together with the homeless community because at GGAF, we understand that compassion is more than a virtue; it's a commitment to humanity.
