Amazon is looking for individuals with strong Database and Linux skills to join our growing Support team as Software Development Engineers.

Job Designation: Software Development Engineer

Salary: 22 LPA – 38 LPA

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Freshers / Experienced

Skill Set:

• Sound knowledge of at least one modern programming language.
• Sound knowledge of Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows system administration fundamentals.
• Good understanding of distributed computing environments.
• Exposure to AWS, Virtualization (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor).
• Expertise in managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
• Experience in setting up monitoring/alarming for production DB environments.
• Some experience with NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Riak.
• Good understanding of DNS, TCP/IP protocols.
• Exposure to security concepts/best practices.
• Understanding of IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Iperf, MTR, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network Monitoring/Troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with customer service experience/strong customer focus.
• Self-starter who is excited about learning new technologies on a regular basis.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
