As a Software Development Engineer, you’ll design and implement ?software solutions for medium-to-large-scale projects. You’ll work closely with creative, product management, and program management teams to define requirements and apply your technical skills to tackle challenging software problems in a fast-paced environment. Your work will encompass creating software and systems for innovative customer experiences, AWS services, and large-scale back-end web services—all aimed at delivering seamless and novel experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Build Full-Stack Solutions: Develop comprehensive solutions that power innovative experiences across devices and the web.
• Problem Solving and Collaboration: Work with creative and technical teams, think big, and innovate to overcome challenges. Use your expertise to simplify complex problems.
• Develop Novel Customer Experiences: Create unique solutions that integrate AWS services, UX strategies, and robust back-end systems to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Optimize and Integrate Existing Products: Collaborate with teams across Amazon to enhance and integrate existing ad products, leveraging Amazon’s scale and reach.
• Technical Leadership: Utilize your organizational and communication skills to address challenging and ambiguous problems, applying ingenuity and motivation in a dynamic environment.
• Mentor and Guide Team Members: Provide mentorship to other Software Development Engineers (SDEs) on the team, ensuring a high-quality bar for design, testing, and engineering practices.
• Uphold Quality Standards: Conduct design reviews and establish robust engineering practices, including automated testing, code coverage, and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
