AMAZON gets richer at a consumers' expense, always !

Guys, just got to know something about Amazon.in and it sucks big time !

If you buy anything from them, like I did for an Air-pump and it stops working; then Amazon simply go by some 'Return Policy', which has an expiry date of less than a month.

So basically let's say you pay Rs. 5500, have the product installed on 12th Jan, 2019 and the product stops working on 13th Feb, 2019, you don't get a refund / replacement.

AMAZON gets richer this way !

Hi Team Amazon,

 

Hope you could resolve this issue for me.

I purchased this product sometime in December, 2018.

I received the product sometime in December, 2018, too.

The product was installed in my 'Natural Pond', at my villa, which I am yet to move in to; as interior work is in progress.

The pump worked fine, as seen it the video.

 

However, on the 11th of February, 2019, the pump stopped working.

The electrician mentioned that, the coil has burnt out.

I requested the electrician to try and fix I, but to no avail.

I think I paid Rs. 5,500 for the unit.

I spent an additional Rs. 2000 to have a transformer made as the unit did not work initially.

This was done by my electrician, Edwin (945915511), and in consultation with the seller, Mr. Muaz (9769435757 / ANM Sales, Mumbai).

According to Edwin, as there was no adapter provided, the 12V unit had to have a transformer built for the same.

 

The unit worked fine until the 11th of Feb, 2019.

 

I have, today, purchased another smaller air pump from the same seller, as I wouldn't want him to blame him in any way; as he has been most accommodating thus far.

I expect a refund to be initiated and also that Amazon note the following :

1. Don’t think there was a warranty card sent with the product

2. The original packing (BOX) had been damaged. This is owing to the fact that, interiors is currently in progress and all kinds of materials / liquids / chemicals / crap gets strewn all over the villa.

3. I can have the product packed and returned, if Amazon would duly initiate the same.

 

Personally I don’t expect any product to work for a month and go bonkers thereafter !
