Tim Hortons franchise owners are threatening to sue in the wake of cash register outages at an unknown number of branches. The association representing 70% of Tim Hortons owners says it will take parent Restaurant Brands to court if the company doesn’t meet today to address “deficient IT practices.” The recent virus affected “employee wages, sales, and food spoilage,” according to attorney Peter Proszanski, who is representing the coffee-and-doughnut franchises. ?
