AMAZON BOOKS: Invisible Wounds: The Emotional Journey of a Police Officer's Battle with PTSD.

I wrote this book with the help of Dave Ficere. As a member of the general public, have you ever wonder what goes on inside the mind of a police officer? As a first responder, have you ever wondered how others seem to be dealing better with their mental health issues? By reading this book, as a member of the general public, you will see in details how a shy, non-confrontational kid went on to become a violent person with the flick of a switch (mind switch). As a first responder, you will read through how deep I was in the darkness and how I managed to crawl out with proper support. The writing started as a form of therapy suggested by my psychologist while in the Yukon. The writing became articles here on LinkedIn (A Typical Police Officer) which transitioned into my book. Although the book is about my personal journey with PTSD and how I came out of the darkness mental health wise and how I manage my triggers today. I emotionally open up completely for the readers to see the toll a career in policing has on mental health. To date, everyone that read the book (except a 1 star posted on Amazon) has found it a very interesting, well written book that exposes the impact on mental in a policing career. I do believe that the book will help not only other first responders but also people from the general public as the book gives some of the tools I use to manage different stress factors.

I have included a link of a book review done by an author who did not have any experience as a first responder. The link of the book on Amazon is at the end of the review. Thank you for acquiring my book. I know you won't regret it.
